Benefits of an assessment
A non-clinical assessment can be a meaningful step for anyone seeking confirmation of their neurodivergent experience, without needing a formal clinical diagnosis.
Research suggests that between 30 and 80% of autistic people also show signs of ADHD. When the two co-exist (sometimes called auDHD) they can mask or compensate for one another in ways that make each condition harder to spot. As a result, many people are assessed for one and miss the other entirely, spending years wondering why something still doesn’t quite fit.
For £750, this includes a dedicated two-hour assessment covering both autism spectrum conditions (ASC) and ADHD, giving you the time and space to be properly heard, rather than squeezed into a standard appointment slot.
Why choose a non-clinical assessment?
✅ The process, pre-screening and assessment methods are drawn from specialist clinical practice, rooted in the belief that you are the expert on your own life, and that a good assessment should reflect that.
✅ Cost-effective: in the UK, the average cost of an adult combined assessment ranges between £2,495 to over £3,200 which may seem a lot if you just want an answer, but aren’t interested in accessing additional supports a formal diagnosis would provide (e.g. medical, legal, DWP, Access to Work, disability benefits).
✅ Holistic dual screening: rather than assessing one condition in isolation, both autism and ADHD are explored together, and where relevant, other factors (such as trauma, dyslexia, or hormonal influences) may be gently highlighted, giving you a more complete understanding of your experience.
✅ Total confidentiality: your outcome will not be shared or discussed with anyone (e.g. your GP/ Insurance companies) and remains completely private.
✅ Short waiting times: unfortunately the waiting lists for autism assessments in the UK often exceeds the recommended guidelines, with NHS data revealing an average wait time of over 14-months. Waiting times for an NHS ADHD assessment in the UK varies significantly, with many services having backlogs that extends to several years.
